Our story

Built with a working operation

SmartCrop is developed in partnership with a tree-fruit growing and packing operation in Washington State, where it runs every day, and is now offered to other growers and packers.

Milestones

From the first badge scan to the packing line

SmartCrop grew in the order the work did: the field first, then the equipment, then the packing line.

  1. 2024: The web app and SmartCrop Field

    Field labor and piece-rate pay on the web, and tasks, badge scans and pieces in the crew boss's pocket.

How we work

Set up together, supported by the people who use it

SmartCrop is not self-serve. We set each operation up with you before the season starts, and we hold ourselves to a few rules.

Set up together
Entities, ranches, blocks, varieties and roles configured with you; people and badges imported from the lists you already keep.
Get the record right
A clock, a piece, a sample or a bin becomes pay, a grade or a room log. It has to be right the first time.
Small releases, often
Changes go out in days, not quarters. The harvest doesn't wait for a release train.
Support that knows the season
The people who answer have run a harvest on SmartCrop.
