Which pressure tester works with SmartCrop?
The FTA Fruit Texture Analyser, over USB in Chrome or Edge on the web, or a Bluetooth serial adapter in SmartCrop QC. Readings are recorded in lbf.
Can inspections be recorded on a phone or tablet?
Yes. SmartCrop QC on iOS and Android records all three inspection types, runs Starch Scan, captures FTA readings over Bluetooth and prints PDF reports, with the same login and permissions as the web.
How does Starch Scan work?
Starch Scan reads the starch index from iodine-stained cross-sections and fills the table for you. The inspector reviews every value, and the photo stays on the record.
Where does receiving inspection live?
Receiving inspections, by ticket number and bin count, sit in the Receive & Store pillar. They share the same defect, starch and pressure steps.
